Existential Analysis

In-Person, Couch-based analysis. Includes dream analysis.

Most appropriate for people seeking to connect to their core values, belief systems, cultural and personal identities, and getting a clearer outlook on what motivates, inspires, and ‘moves’ you in your daily life. Helpful in deepening your awareness to who you are, who you are in your relationships, who you want to be, and how to get there.

This type of treatment is most beneficial when sessions are 1-2x per week for an ongoing basis that may last for several months to several years. Some people find that the goals deepen as they continue this treatment and many are interested in exploring their understanding what it would mean to live as their most ‘authentic-being’ with increased consistency and understanding in everyday life.

Consultation, Teaching, Supervision, and Presentations

Consultation and assessment services.

Includes running group programs such as art therapy, chronic pain, grief and loss, and process-oriented workshops.

Presentations, teaching, and training programming available by request. Previous topics include chronic pain, mindfulness, coping with depression and anxiety, trauma-informed practice, and speciality topics such as spirituality, existential-analysis, dream-analysis, and psychological philosophy.

Supervision for individuals completing licensure requirements may also be available, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Talk Therapy

Face-to-Face traditional talk therapy.  Can include specific skill development, such as mindfulness. In-person or virtual therapy options available.

Most appropriate for people that have a specific problem or skill set that they wish to develop, learn, and activate in their lives. Some people begin therapy in the ‘talk therapy’ approach and then consider whether Existential Analysis would be a preferred method to healing.

Talk therapy often helps people create opportunities for developing new changes in daily routines, communication, stress management, sleeping, coping with anger, processing complex feelings, working through problems or situations that are getting in the way of thriving in your life, and performing self-care routines and rituals that help you connect to your best self.

Tele-Psychology

Phone or Video-based therapy sessions available.

I utilize a HIPAA compliant video platform that allows us to maintain confidential therapy sessions in a virtual environment.

This type of treatment may also be helpful to those that live in distant areas of California or have travel, caregiving, or other needs.
